Thomas named NJCAA All-American

CVC Basketball's JF Thomas was named an NJCAA Division III Third Team selection, as announced by the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee. Thomas, a freshman forward from Dallas, TX, ranked third in the NJCAA in rebounds with 14.9 per game. He was also in the top 15 in field goal percentage with 60.6%, all while averaging a double-double with 18.7 points per game.

CVC Head Basketball Coach Cedric Jones said, "We are very proud of JF and the accomplishment of the nomination of All-American, he worked extremely hard in order to achieve this award!"

Thomas also earned Metro Athletic Conference honors after being named Freshman of the Year and was selected to the All-MAC/Region V First Team.
