Lady Suns Fall to Arlington Baptist in Five Sets
The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team were defeated by the Arlington Baptist Patriots in five sets on Tuesday night (25-20,23-25,28-26,12-25,10-15). Brenda Duran had a team high 11 kills for Cedar Valley to go along with 27 digs.
Other team-highs for CVC included a 35 dig performance by Sarah Carrola and Miranda Solis dishing out 35 assists. Four other Lady Suns registered double figure digs (Solis - 22, Makayla Brisco - 18, Christian Wilson - 12, and Korina Dominquez - 10).
Cedar Valley returns to action against Southwestern Adventist University for "Military Appreciation Night" on Thursday.
