Reyna Claims Second Straight Goalie of Week Honor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Olivia Reyna was selected as the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Goalkeeper of the Week for the second straight week.

A sophomore from Houston, Reyna made seven saves in a shutout win at the University of Arkansas Cossatot. She stopped a penalty shot in the 15^th minute.

Reyna collected her second straight shutout, and extended her scoreless streak to 234 consecutive minutes in goal, dating back to the tie with Southwestern Adventist University in the season opener.

Reyna improved to 2-0-1 with a 0.67 goals against average and 19 saves this season.

Cedar Valley (2-0-1) opens Dallas Athletic Conference play 6 p.m. Friday at Dallas College Eastfield.
