Hamm Named DAC Women's Player of Week
Dallas College Cedar Valley's Tiffani Hamm was named the Dallas Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week.
A freshman guard from Denton, Texas, Hamm averaged 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, an assist and 0.5 blocks as the then ninth-ranked Suns went 2-0 last week. She shot 11 of 18 from the field, hitting the one three-pointer she took in a 100-39 victory at Southwestern Adventist University Saturday.
Hamm scored 19 points on 9 of 13 shooting at Southwestern Adventist, and had six rebounds and a block. She had seven rebounds and two assists in the win at Dallas Christian College Thursday.
Cedar Valley (7-2) is off until Jan. 3 when the Suns host Frank Phillips College at 3:30 p.m.
