Men's Basketball to Open Season Nov. 1

2022-23 Men's Basketball Schedule

Dallas College Cedar Valley men's basketball team will open the season 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at Temple College.

Cedar Valley, which went 11-18 overall, 2-8 in the Dallas Athletic Conference a year ago, will host Arlington Baptist Junior Varsity 6 p.m. Nov. 3 in the home opener. The Suns follow that up with another game in Lancaster against Loyalty College Prep Nov. 7.

After a pair of games at Blinn College's Blue Bell Classic against the University of Arkansas Cossatot and the host Buccaneers, Cedar Valley hosts the University of North Texas at Dallas Nov. 15. The Suns close out the busy November that will see the team play six of their 10 games at home with three straight games in Lancaster against the likes of McLennan Community College, Tribulation Prep and UNT Dallas during a nine-day span.

Following two straight road games in December, the Suns host Creating Young Minds and Dallas Christian College Dec. 7 and 8 before meeting Texas Wesleyan University's Junior Varsity on Dec. 12. They will take a 24-day hiatus for the Christmas break before resuming in 2023 with a road game at Collin County Community College Jan. 6.

Cedar Valley hosts Southwestern Assemblies of God University's Junior Varsity in the first home game after the New Year on Jan. 9. A day later, the Suns meet Cossatot for the third time – another home affair – before beginning league play at Dallas College Eastfield Jan. 14.

The Suns' first home DAC game is Jan. 28 against Dallas College Mountain View. They conclude the regular season at home against Dallas College Brookhaven Feb. 25.
