Nguyen Captures FIFA Tier III National Championship

Dallas College Cedar Valley's Khoi Nguyen won the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports Tier III FIFA National Championship.

Nguyen, "Midas800," swept third-seeded Lakeland Community College's "TEOman04_," 3-0 in the championship series finals. Seeded No. 1, Nguyen beat Catawba Valley Community College's fifth-seeded "Niste0110," 3-1 in the semifinals.

Nguyen went unbeaten this season. He became the fourth Dallas College eSports individual national champion -- with all four coming in the traditional sports games. He is the third FIFA champion in Dallas College eSports history.
