Suns Baseball Quintanilla and White Help Region 14 South to 13-2 Victory in Texas-New Mexico All-Star Game

CVC Suns Baseball sophomores, Skyler White and Daniel Quintanilla were both selected to the Texas-New Mexico All-Star Game over the weekend in Weatherford,Texas at Weatherford College.

Representing Region 14 South, Quintanilla and White helped their team to a 13-2 win over the Region V West All-Stars.

Quintanilla, an All-Metro Athletic Conference selection in his freshman season, finished the game 2-4 from the plate, with two runs and two RBIs, while White pitched a shutout inning with one strikeout.

Cedar Valley opens their season on Saturday, February 3, when they host the Cisco Wranglers at noon.
