Suns Baseball Drops Game One vs. North Lake, 11-8

The CVC Baseball Team were defeated by the North Lake Blazers in game one of their Metro Athletic Conference series, 11-8. Alex Garcia led the Suns with three hits and three RBIs.

CVC fell behind early giving up five runs in the top of the first inning, allowing NLC to take a 5-0 lead. From there, the Suns played catch-up all game with the Blazers. CVC's last hope was a late ninth inning rally that garnered four runs but was not enough.

Tylor Frailey also had three hits, with Jesus Payan notching a team-high three runs.

Cedar Valley continues their series with North Lake, this Friday in Irving.
