Garcia selected as Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Week

Alex Garcia, as released by the conference office today has been selected as the Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Week, for his performances against Eastfield College and LeTourneau University (J.V.) during the week of February 26 - March 4.

During the 2-1 series victory over EFC, Garcia powered the Suns with totals of six hits, seven RBIs, three runs and a home run, while hitting .750 from the plate. The Grand Prairie product, also added two RBIs, two hits, and two runs in CVC's doubleheader sweep of LeTourneau.

The Suns continue Metro Athletic Conference action this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. when they host North Lake College in game one of their three-game MAC series.
